Settlement Meters are instrumental observation equipment that measure settlement and heave under dams with filling bodies and all types of fillings.

Data obtained from seating meters can be obtained with portable readers or can be automatically captured and recorded.

Main Types of Settlement Meters:

Liquid Type Settlement Meter

The system, consisting of plates and single/multiple liquid tubes connected to Vibrating Wire (VW) Sensors, is used to measure settlements and ground swelling in dams and embankments. The system allows all measurements to be taken from a single station and remotely.

Rod Type Settlement Meter

It is used to measure settlements and soil swelling in fillings. It is low cost and easy to use.

It is used to detect subsurface and differential settlements under structures, fillings and tunnels.

 
 
 

Magnetic Seating Column

It enables the measurement of settlement at different levels by means of magnetic references placed around the inclinometer pipes.
