Strain gauges are instrumental observation elements that are placed on steel and concrete elements and enable load, stress and pressure calculations to be carried out.
Strain gauges can be placed on reinforcement bars, steel beams, tunnel segments, struts, sheet piles and cables. They can be used in pile loading tests and instrumental observations of columns, beams and reinforced concrete foundations.
